Gratitude in Every Note: Giving Day Reflections

Over the past month, from Ohio University Giving Day and beyond, we raised $5,217.92 for the Not Too Late For Me Scholarship Fund. On April 2nd, I offered to match up to $1,000, and you all maxed it out. During this period, we nearly doubled the amount raised during the life of this scholarship fund.
To say I’m grateful doesn’t feel like enough. This wasn’t just a few people tossing in a couple bucks, it was a wave of generosity from you all, my family and friends. Every time a new donation came in, it felt like a little spark of love and momentum.
We have officially raised $11,994 towards our goal of $25,000. In just a few short months, we've raised so much to support future bobcats pursuing music education at Ohio University. With that said, this fund isn’t just about money. It’s about honoring my mom and my brother. It’s about supporting students who, like them, may have taken an unconventional path, but who carry a deep love for music.
To every single person who gave: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Whether we’ve known each other for decades or you simply stumbled across this story, your gift means the world.
A big THANK YOU is owed to all of our donors who have brought this dream to light.
I want to take a moment to thank the donors that contributed last month:

Your efforts and support help keep Monica and Max’s spirits alive in the most beautiful way, and you’re opening doors for the next generation of musicians who just need someone to believe in them.
We’re not there yet, but we’re getting close and I have no doubt we’ll make it!
With All the Love I Have to Give,
Ford T. Clark
