A heartfelt moment with the Hoffmans, cherished family friends since the 1990s, holding Max and Ford with love.

Our memories of Monica Clark and Max Clark are filled with warmth and the kindness of a family that touched our hearts deeply. We were fortunate to have known them during a time in their lives when they shared their talents, their laughter, and their love with us.

Monica was an extraordinary pianist. It was clear to anyone who heard her play that music was not only a talent but a deep passion for her. Her son, Max, inherited much of her musical talent, but his love for music shone just as brightly. There was a natural harmony between him and his mother.

Our memories of their family, including Pete and Ford, in Marietta, OH, are filled with laughter, warmth, great food, southern hospitality, and the simple joys of time spent together. Whether it was gathering around for a Sunday barbecue, sharing stories, or playing cards on Wednesday nights, we were always made to feel like part of their family. Their home was one of love and friendship.

We are deeply honored to help celebrate the memory of Monica and Max through this scholarship. Their legacy lives on in the music they created and in the lives they touched. May this scholarship continue to inspire future generations of musicians, just as they inspired us.

With heartfelt remembrance,

Peter and Michelle Hoffman
